About the Role




We are looking for a passionate and curious

Software Engineer

to join our growing team. You will design, build, and scale our enterprise SaaS platform that delivers powerful

location intelligence

and geospatial analytics. You will work across the full stack--from data pipelines and backend systems to user-facing applications--helping transform complex data into meaningful insights that empower businesses and communities.


Roles and Responsibilities




Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and cloud technologies Develop data pipelines and storage systems that process and integrate large, diverse geospatial datasets Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews and promoting best practices Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance Contribute to architectural discussions and design decisions for new features and systems Take ownership of software delivery across the lifecycle from design to deployment, monitoring, and support

Qualifications




Your most valuable skill is the ability to learn, closely followed by knowing when to ask for help. You love solving problems collaboratively and delivering products that make an impact. You also have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

, with a

Master's degree preferred

years

of professional software development experience. Applied research or experience in engineering data-intensive enterprise software systems is considered an asset Proficiency in

Python

plus one of

Java

or

C#

Knowledge of

JavaScript

and

TypeScript

and experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte Strong understanding of software engineering principles including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Advanced knowledge of

SQL

, relational data modeling, and database design A problem-solving mindset with a focus on collaboration, efficiency, and high-quality delivery A desire to continuously learn and improve both personally and as part of a team
