Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Product Team to assist in developing risk management solutions as part of our Unified Vulnerability Management Platform. We are seeking a senior engineer who can work closely with our Platform Team, Product Managers, and customers to understand how users manage their cyber risk and deliver the required solutions. Members of our team enjoy a collaborative work environment within a Scrum team, delivering features and improvements of real value to real customers.

In this role, you will use a combination of Java (Groovy) and configuration code to develop web applications on top of our platform. You will need solid development skills, data modeling experience, and an ability to understand how businesses think about their cyber attack surface. We are growing and need engineers who can work both independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate must have a background in developing large-scale SaaS software solutions. You will need to be equally comfortable implementing business features associated with risk management and solving performance bottlenecks deep in the data tier. We are seeking an engineer passionate about delivering high-quality solutions used by some of the world's largest enterprises. The position reports to a Manager of Software Engineering or above.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design software products that meet our current requirements and are able to evolve as new requirements become known Implement software in support of the product roadmap Support quality initiatives that meet the expectations of prospects and maintain high renewal rates Champion processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution Participate in planning sessions that ensure quality objectives are well understood so that standards and metrics can be established Deliver predictable operational support for both internal and external consumers of our technologies Assist in building a highly capable team based on great talent identification and recruiting Help ensure that the engineering team is happy, prolific, and autonomous Maximize the productivity of our technologies by assisting in the development of technical documentation
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

4+ years of experience in SaaS Java/Groovy enterprise web application development Significant experience writing SQL Experience working with REST APIs Experience working in various database technologies Ability to take end-user business requirements and configure reports, dashboards, and other automations to deliver value Ability to work in multiple areas of a tech stack Thorough understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
AND IDEALLY

Experience developing applications that leverage AI technologies (e.g., ML, Generative AI, NLP, etc.) Experience working with Neo4J or Yugabyte Experience building enterprise applications Experience building cybersecurity or IT systems management applications Master's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
