Position Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated Software Engineer who will take part in designing, developing, testing, and installing software solutions that are being used by electric engineers worldwide. This is a United States-based position that offers flexibility with hybrid, or remote work options. This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated and passionate software engineer to make a significant impact within our team and the electrical engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains new software using C++/C# .Net by applying techniques of computer science and engineering, that satisfies the objectives stated in business requirements. Follows industry best practices, techniques and Bentley Systems standards to deliver efficient software solutions. Evaluates and selects process and logic patterns, library components, programming language constructs, and operating environment interfaces that effectively satisfy business requirements, develops appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established company standards. Ensures proper functioning and performance of software components using repeatable, reproducible, and reportable software unit testing methodologies and tools. Works closely with other development team members, electrical engineers and product management team to understand business requirements and proper use of technical stack. Works closely with QA to ensure adequate test coverage of the product and delivers high quality software. Assists EasyPower customer support to diagnose issues encountered in the field.

Qualifications:

Graduate or post-graduate degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant training and/or experience. 2+ years of experience developing software in C++/C# .Net Experience with WPF, XAML and SQL server Unit testing experience Experience working on a SCRUM team in an agile development environment Ability to write clear, maintainable, testable, efficient, and secure code. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Self-motivated person who can work individually and as part of a team.
