Role Details:


Hybrid - 3 times a week in office ( Toronto or Mississauga)



The Full-Stack Developer (Checkout) will join a small, entrepreneurial team in building the next-generation checkout experience for Compass Digital. Currently in pilot stage, this system is poised for rapid growth. In the coming months, we'll be scaling the system, adding new features, and expanding its reach to more markets and use cases, with a long-term vision to reinvent what the checkout experience can be. The team operates like a startup with fast-paced development and the opportunity to shape a product with massive potential impact.

Help us implement standards, next-best practices for code quality and test coverage

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support the reliability of our systems. On-call is shared fairly across the team and supported with robust tooling.

You will have the opportunity to use the latest and greatest cloud and open-source technology in developing technology driven hospitality experiences for our customers and to provide self-service capabilities for non-technical groups

What we like to use: Vue, Typescript, trunk-based development, AWS CDK, TEMPLE principles for o11y, Serverless (npm), managed AWS services, feature flagging
