Hybrid role (2-3 days a week in office) at HPE St-Laurent Office: 2344 Alfred-Nobel, St-Laurent QC H4S0A4.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing cloud-based products, enhancements and updates. and coordinating projects for his or her team as part of an extended and larger software team. Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners. Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities. Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.

Education and Experience Required:

B.Eng or B.Sc in Computer Science.

Must have 5+ years

development experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution. Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies. Knowledge of Agile-based methodologies Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Strong communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation).

Responsabilites:



Fournir un leadership direct et continu a une equipe de concepteurs en logiciel qui concoivent et developpent de nouveaux produits. Gerer les effectifs, les produits livrables, les calendriers et les couts pour plusieurs projets en cours, s'assurant que les ressources sont allouees de maniere appropriee et que les objectifs, les echeanciers et les budgets sont respectes conformement aux feuilles de route des programmes et des organisations. Communiquer le statut du projet et transmet les problemes aux gestionnaires, aux gestionnaires de programme et aux partenaires de developpement internes et externes. Gere les relations avec les partenaires et les fournisseurs sous-traitants, y compris la definition des attentes concernant les livrables, la qualite des produits, les calendriers et les couts; s'assure que les membres de l'equipe communiquent efficacement et collaborent avec les ressources externalisees. Identifier de maniere proactive les opportunites d'amelioration des processus et les opportunites de reduction des couts. Assurer la gestion aux personnes assignees aux membres de l'equipe, y compris l'embauche, la mise en place et le suivi des plans de performance annuels, l'encadrement et le developpement de carriere; veille a ce que des outils appropries de developpement des connaissances et des carrieres soient en place pour soutenir le developpement continu des membres et des processus de l'equipe.

Education et experience requises



Diplome universitaire en ingenierie ou en informatique.

Doit avoir au moins 5 ans d'experience en gestion de personnel

Doit avoir au moins 5 ans d'experience en developpement de logiciels embarques.

Solides competences en leadership, y compris l'encadrement, le travail d'equipe et la resolution des conflits. Competences avancees en gestion de projet, y compris la gestion du temps et des risques, la priorisation des ressources et la structuration des projets. Solides competences analytiques et de resolution de problemes.
