The IoT (Internet of Things) Connected Fleet & Assets team is a highly engaged group of individuals focused on enabling capabilities that will set the foundation for how TELUS Industry Solutions will build and deliver a connected assets platform (including vehicles, high-value assets and connected workers). What the job looks like day-to-day:






Manage the team that builds one of the greatest fleet telematics platforms in North America Delight our customers every day with new product capabilities and industry-leading performance and reliability Manage the successful delivery of merging the best parts of this product into the future platform that unlocks value across fleet tracking, asset tracking and connected worker solutions Effectively support a team of 15, primarily developers, and help them achieve their business and career growth goals Build and leverage strong relationships with product, sales, operations / support teams internally. You are the bridge into other parts of the organization You'll have ownership of scheduling, budgeting and resource planning across operational and development activities Evaluate vendors and maintain engagements to deliver complimentary benefits to the product and/or team Have fun! You are a known leader of technical/development teams that build and deliver great products You excel at software operations, including scheduling, resource and budget management and partnering with vendors You manage time and projects/programs effectively and deliver strong communication across all levels of your team and organization

As this is a French speaking team, proficiency in spoken and written French is highly-valued Experience as a developer is an asset. Our tech stack includes Typescript / React, MySQL, all running in Azure





Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.





Salary Range: $110,000-$166,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 20%
