• Plus de 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle en développement de logiciels, hors stag / 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Marketplace enables software sellers to reach buyers on AWS and enables software buyers to easily discover, purchase and consume software. Our vision is to make AWS Marketplace a one stop shop for buying and selling software just like Amazon.com is for retail. We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help take the team to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from the front-end user experience to a set of robust backend APIs and services and everything in between. You’re someone who thrives on solving complex distributed computing challenges, is customer obsessed and is passionate about building quality software that raises the operational excellence of the organization. You possess strong communication skills since at AWS Marketplace you’ll have several opportunities to meet and interact with customers (both buyers and sellers) directly!

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of success delivering new features or products, strong knowledge of web services and protocols and an in-depth knowledge of systems architectures. Experience with asynchronous workflow, big-data, machine learning and AWS technologies is a plus.

On-Call Responsibility
Occasionally our systems might stray away from our normal course of operations. To minimize the impact of such excursions, we have on-call rotations. Being on-call is a great opportunity to learn how the systems behave and raise the bar on operational excellence when you’re on on-call duty. Everyone on the team take turns to be on on-call rotations, typically on a weekly basis.

• MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Programming experience in any of the Object oriented programming language.
• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior software engineers or software developers in all aspects of their engineering duties.
• Passion for building, global, complex systems to solve problems with proven ability to deliver high quality software.
