Job summary Imagine trying to understand your contact center’s performance by sifting through billions of hours of call audio. Why are your customers calling in? How well are your agents performing? Here in AWS AI, we’re working to solve this problem. Our early-life product gives businesses insights into their contact centers by leveraging NLP and Machine Learning (ML) to generate analytics over customer engagements. What we have is just the beginning. The product is rapidly gaining adoption, and we have myriad customer requests to add to our analytics, and expand to new channels. As a high-growth service, there are plenty of new challenges and scope. On this team you will design, develop, test, and deploy new distributed systems, as well as suggest and make improvements to existing infrastructure to ensure our services are maintainable, and continue to support our increasing levels of traffic. At the intersection of ML and distributed systems, the problems are complex. You will collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers as well as our dedicated team of Machine Learning (ML) Scientists to deliver new products and features for our global customer base. The Technology The team builds entirely on AWS services, making use of EC2, Fargate, SageMaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, KVS, KDS, S3, and more. Expertise in these services, Distributed Systems and Machine Learning is definitely a plus, but is not required if you’re a passionate learner who is interested in growing a career in this space.
