Software Developer



We're looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain desktop applications using C# and .NET. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions. You'll participate in Agile planning, manage tasks through Azure DevOps, and contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement efforts. This is a hands-on role with real impact--perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and refine software requirements. Participate in planning meetings to translate business needs into functional technical solutions. Manage and maintain a Kanban board in Azure DevOps, applying Agile methodologies to prioritize and track progress. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in collaboration with the QA team. Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing. Create efficient, scalable, and reliable software solutions that meet business objectives. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software development, particularly in desktop application development. Continuously contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience (3+ years) in .NET and C# development, especially for desktop applications. Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps (Kanban boards, work tracking). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good understanding of software design principles and best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
