Software Developer
Winnipeg, Manitoba

We have teamed up with SGA Tech Solutions, a division of Endeavours Group, to find them a Software Developer in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Endeavours Group is a private equity firm with a diversified portfolio and operations across most of Canada and in parts of the USA.

As the Software Developer, you will:

• Design, configure, build, test, deploy and maintain on-site and cloud-hosted software applications, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Manage and maintain the full-stack infrastructure.
• Gather technical requirements for internal and external customers.
• Create documentation for software development and testing.
• Work closely with other team members to develop robust solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in development and operations best practices.
• Ability to convey complex information in both written and oral form to technical and non-technical audiences

You and Your Experience:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Possesses strong technical skills and experience in developing ERP applications from the ground up. Experience working with multiple ERP modules such as accounting, assets, buying, CRM, payroll, manufacturing, selling, stock, human resources, project, and website.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.
• Able to understand the complex business process and manage the project and has a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with virtual machines, Python, Linux, Github, web development, UI/UX development for web applications, Apache or equivalent, and MySQL and/or MariaDB or equivalent.
• Ability to optimize codes to work with large datasets and minimize execution time.
• Knowledge of Linux server and network security is an asset.
• Experience with workflows, access controls, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards design and development.
