You will be part of a growing development team involved in all stages of product development--from planning and design all the way to testing and deployment. Particulars:

Full-time hybrid Must work from Toronto office located at Yonge & Eglinton 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test and maintain backend services, APIs and Spring Boot applications using Java Create dynamic front-end applications primarily in React, TypeScript, and Redux Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing codebases Review code changes, participate in design discussions, and work closely with cross-functional teams Write and maintain technical documentation for your code and processes

Skills:

Experience with object-oriented development using Java (preferred), C# or similar languages Proficiency with React and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred) Familiarity with Redux or similar state management libraries Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices Able to switch between projects and tasks as needed Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Good to Have:

Basic familiarity with SQL for data management Experience with build tools, containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and testing frameworks
