You will work with cutting-edge BI tools, including Tableau and SAP BI.Perform tool administration tasks and develop interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Tableau Desktop and SAP Business ObjectsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable Tableau and Business Objects solutionsIntegrate data from Oracle and Snowflake databases into Tableau for reporting and analytics purposesCreate complex SQL queries and database views to extract and transform dataPerform data modelling, optimization, and performance tuning within Snowflake and Oracle environmentsMonitor and manage the Tableau Cloud, SAP Business Objects servers, services, and processesPerform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availabilityCollaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement changes and enhancements to the Business Objects environmentFamiliarity with cloud-based database solutions like Snowflake and data integration techniquesMaintain data security and governance protocols, including user access management and adherence to compliance requirements, to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory standardsWhat We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking ForCompleted University Degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science or equivalent working experienceMinimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Tableau/SAP Business Objects Developer or similar roleProficiency in SAP Business Objects suite (e.g., Web Intelligence, Universe Designer, IDT, Crystal Reports, and Central Management Console)Proficiency in Tableau tool (e.g., Desktop, Cloud, Tableau Services Manager Web UI) and deploying and publishing Tableau workbooks to Tableau CloudProficiency in administering and troubleshooting Business Objects/Tableau Cloud services and connect to various data sourcesRelevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Business Objects Certified Professional, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Server Certified Associate) are an assetThe Expertise You BringUnderstanding of permissions, security, and user access management (SAP BO/Tableau)Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network protocolsSkill in using version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage Tableau workbook versions and collaborate with team membersUnderstanding of data governance and security concepts that involve managing and protecting data assetsProficient in managing backups and performing recovery proceduresSolid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principlesProficient in designing visually appealing and interactive dashboards that effectively communicate insightsKnowledge of best practices for layout, color schemes, and user experienceStrong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle)Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
