Position Overview

Autodesk\'s Enterprise Data Management team (EDM) is hiring a Software Developer. Reporting to our Senior Software Development Manager, you\'ll help our team design robust and resilient APIs, services, and data pipelines. You\'ll work with our product development partners (Product Managers, Program/Project Managers, Software Architects and Operations teams) and ensure our services use modern, scalable, reliable methods. Our systems play a critical role for our order flows, quoting/pricing, and contributing to reporting, analytics, and prediction. You\'ll join a collaborative team eager to solve challenges, and that seeks to mitigate existing issues and balance technical debt while delivering business value to Autodesk. This is a growth opportunity!

Responsibilities

Perform development and maintenance of software for new and existing services, platforms, and data pipelines in a cloud environment

Support team with design, creation, review, and adoption of software and solutions

Partner with team members to understand requirements for software architecture and implementations

Perform test implementations according to specifications and requirements

Share your ideas and learnings with the team

Minimum Qualifications

1-3+ years of experience programming with Python and with SQL

Experience with software development in a cloud environment and with a focus on data (AWS \xe2\x80\x93 Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc)

Firm understanding of programming paradigms, their usage, and data structures. (e.g. OOP vs Functional, Time/space complexity, Hashmap vs List)

Experience in cross section of the software engineering spectrum (APIs, Front-end, Backend, Data layers, Service layers)

Experience in API architecture (REST) and microservices with hands-on implementation experience

Experience with CI/CD and familiar with TDD/BDD

Experience communicating technical solutions technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different teams

Experience with Agile

Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments and share knowledge

Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk\xe2\x80\x99s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $91,800 and $158,400. Offers are based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
