Position Overview

We are seeking Software Developers with Synergy DBL expertise to support our Professional business. This role involves maintaining legacy systems while contributing to modern application development in an agile/waterfall environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop program code using Synergy DBL, Open VMS/Visual Studio, and Workbench Maintain code quality using development best practices Provide support by managing help desk maintenance items and user requests Work with leadership to define technology solutions Design, develop, test, and deploy code within software applications Help maintain and improve current applications Collaborate in agile environment with waterfall deployment

Required Qualifications

Experience

3-5 years of application development experience Programming experience in Synergy DBL or similar language Experience using Open VMS/Visual Studio and Workbench Experience using ServiceNow Familiarity with design thinking and customer-centric design
Technical Skills

Knowledge of Synergy DBL or similar coding language Knowledge of Open VMS/Visual Studio and Workbench Linux environment and shell scripting knowledge Creative problem solver with root cause analysis skills Strong communication skills Team player willing to share knowledge
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual in French/English would be beneficial

Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,695.83-$137,826.32 per year

Experience:

Synergy DBL or similar language: 3 years (preferred) Open VMS/Visual Studio and Workbench: 3 years (preferred) using ServiceNow: 3 years (preferred) design thinking and customer-centric design: 3 years (preferred)
