Application Development, Integration and Verification

Provides technical support, analysis, development, testing and implementation of software solutions and services.
Design, test, support and maintain testing and quality assurance activities on various technology/platforms.
Investigates, troubleshoots, resolves and documents technical problems with software solutions. Assist in the provision of programming or test specifications and writes new or modifies existing code and procedures.
Participates in analyzing, installation, configuration, testing and development of software tools. Define and document client requirements and ensure adherence to the department/agency's programming, testing and development standards
Provides technical advice/application assistance and produces system documentation on application systems, software, tools, functions or interfaces to facilitate systems development and implementation activities.
Conducts research and supports the development of departmental/agency work processes, standards and guidelines.
Participates as a member on projects, and/or leads short term projects.
Education

Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in:
computer science;
information technology;
The educational program needs to be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada, we will work with you to obtain the required proof of Canadian equivalency through a recognized credential assessment service. Any higher level of education (i.e., Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Doctorate) in a related field of study may be recognized as experience.
