ADGA is hiring a Software Developer to work on a Canadian defence program we manage. The Junior Software Developers will be developing Military Command Systems in the Military Command Software Centre (MCSC). The MCSC maintains a suite of mission-critical applications in support of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) operations, Monitor MASS/Nomad. Continuously evolving CAF requirements must be proactively managed and supported.
Tasks The Software Developer associated with Monitor MASS, Nomad, the MCSC loader, and MCSC systems issues tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Study existing PL SQL Code and write PL SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications;
• Develop application interfaces between systems for data synchronization and data integrity;
• Write custom reports and ad-hoc reports to satisfy detailed specifications;
• Any other related tasks requested by the team to support operations.
• The Intermediate Software Developer will be expected to develop, test and implement program code, and object segments in accordance with MCSC design conventions.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited University OR College specializing in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience within the past 4 years coding in Oracle PL SQL using SQL Navigator or TOAD for application development.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience within the past 5 years in programming using 2-tiered Oracle broker technology.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience C++ using MS Studio OR Oracle PL SQL Navigator for application development.
