Total Credit Recovery Limited (TCR) is one of the largest Canadian-owned receivables management company, servicing most major Canadian credit grantors. TCR is a progressive company, with over 400 employees in 4 offices across the country.

We are looking for a passionate and committed Software Developer to join our growing Information Technology Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take the lead on an array of exciting projects and bring innovative solutions of your own design to this industry.

This position is a full-time employment opportunity based in our Toronto Head Office.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a dynamic team on the creation and implementation of strategic projects Oversee the testing and deployment of modern applications and systems Take ownership of the quality and scalability of your code Research and implement new techniques and emerging technologies Lead in the design and maintenance of SQL Databases Universe database programming in a collection system environment (TCS) Windows web projects Maintain internal custom applications Create automated custom reporting on multiple platforms Other duties as assigned

Requirements

University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar quantitative field Knowledge and use of TCS -

Universe database running on IBM AIX operating system

Genesys PureConnect Platform knowledge would be an asset Strong knowledge of SQL Server Design/Architecture Proficiency with C# is a must, with a familiarity of its coding environment Knowledge of the .NET framework and its newest features Knowledge of the ASP.NET web-application framework Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript Web development experience, web API, MVC, back-end Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Highly motivated and independent individual, who thrives in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills
