Arobas personnel is looking for a Software Developer for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal.

*100 % Remote or Hybrid mode with 1 day/week in the office*

What does your day to day look like?

• Acts as Software Developer in product development projects to deliver high performance Azure products to market
• Plan and execute scalability of current Azure environment
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as code
• Implement and automate the deployment of IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services in Azure
• Implement security recommendations
• Help with the certification and maintenance of industry standards
• Produce detailed documentation and step by step processes to troubleshoot the infrastructure

• At least 4+ years of experience in using variety of Azure technologies (e.g. Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, Load Balancer, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, App Service, Azure Backup and Site Recovery Services, Security)
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining cloud solutions to address industry regulations, for example FEDRAMP.
• Knowledge and familiarity with adjacent technology areas including Network, Security, Identity and Access Management and Management and Monitoring.
• Experience in Scripting Skills: (e.g. PowerShell, Shell)
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics.
• Build new tools and automation to solve customer problems.
• You will also develop tools and scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activity.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required.
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Minimum 4 years MIS or computer science experience with increasing responsibility in QA and/or telecommunications experience.

• Ability to deliver quality results in a busy, fast paced and dynamic team-oriented environment.
• Identifies potential project technical risks and develops plans to mitigate them.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills, perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
• Passionate about processes and methodology.
• React well and quickly to frequent project demands and requirement changes with flexibility to juggle multiple projects and requests as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Test automation experience and setting up a CI and CD environment.
• Knowledge of one scripting and/or high level language is a plus: C# (preferred), Python, Shell, PowerShell
• Working with remote teams.

• Based on area of responsibility and departmental need, knowledge of one standard program language is preferred in (C#, IIS,NET)
• Based on area of responsibility and departmental need, experience with or knowledge of internet technologies preferred in (Firewall, SMTP, Proxy, SSL, APis)
• Based on area of responsibility and departmental need, experience with automated testing tools preferred such as SOAPUI, Visual Studio Ultimate, TFS in (Mod, Regression, Load testing, Load Runner, Selenium, Test Complete, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM))
