Job Summary




We have an exciting opportunity for a software developer to join the Loblaw Real Estate (LRE) team. You will play an integral role in our data and systems stewardship, engaging with business partners across the Enterprise to develop tools and solutions to drive process efficiencies across LRE departments. This role implements process and governance to ensure data integrity and data standards in our reporting tools as well as builds and leverages automation and artificial intelligence tools to drive efficiencies in day-to-day LRE tasks.

What You'll Do:



Act as a conduit between LRE departments, Loblaw Technology and Analytics (LTA), and the LRE leadership team to clarify and translate business and operational requirements into technical specifications and conceptual report designs Create end-to-end solutions using but not limited to Power Platform components to meet business needs as it relates to project set ups and project management Design new features, automate deployments and aid in architectural design of current and future state systems and software Identify and diagnose deficiencies related to systems, coding and infrastructure, and recommending creative solutions for mitigation Implement and maintain best practices for Power Platform development, including security, performance, and governance Continuously monitor solution performance and optimizing it for efficiency and scalability Determine optimal configurations for application software, application servers, and database connections Document current and future state data, systems, and process workflows while recommending new technologies and solutions to improve the system's performance and capabilities as part of a long-term system and tools roadmap Act as a data steward for ensuring consistency and accuracy of data in LRE communication tool Provide technical leadership and support to project teams throughout implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery

What you Bring:



Bring experience with translating complex business requirements into technical designs emphasizing the use of Microsoft Search Copilot Studio(AI) and Power Platform capabilities Hands on experience with software engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related technical field Demonstrated success as a Full Stack Engineer/Developer Blend of both Development and SRE mindset (i.e. software and infrastructure) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail Enjoys working in an environment of fast paced change and ambiguity A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and learn new skills
