Job Summary:
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION - SOFTWARE DEVELOPER INTERN
Location: Remote in Canada
Division: Ticketmaster NA - Festivals & GA (Universe)
Line Manager: Lead Software Developer
Internship Terms: Between 8-12-month term with flexible start dates in 2026, working 37.5 hours per week

THROUGHOUT YOUR TIME WITH US YOU WILL
Develop software alongside seasoned professionals to tackle real-world technical challenges including writing, debugging and reviewing code changes that directly impact our customers
Gain exposure to a variety of technical tools; our projects use languages like Javascript/Typescript/Swift/Kotlin/Ruby, frameworks like React/NextJS/Rails, databases like PostgreSQL/MongoDB and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Collaborate with stakeholders like Product Managers, UX Designers and QA Developers to scope requirements and deliver solutions
Receive dedicated mentorship, continuous support, and ongoing feedback to set you up with the skills you need to be successful in this industry
YOU WILL PROBABLY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
Are a recent graduate of a technical program that involves programming (Computer Science, math, etc), or have developed equivalent learning through non-traditional paths
Possess a deep passion for using technology to solve problems and care intensely about honing your craft
Have proven ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a team to drive results
Embody resilience and resourcefulness in rapidly changing environments

The expected compensation for this position in British Columbia is:
$25.00 CAD per hour.
