Description UKG is looking for talented students eager to help investigate and address complex issues relating to new and existing business challenges. The UKG Engineering team in Montreal is seeking a Software Development Intern. The successful candidate will work as part of a scrum team and focus on the maintenance and development of product features.

Responsibilities:
Participation in the design and analysis phases.
Contribute to the development of new features and defect validation.
Performing code inspections and correcting the source code.
Performing unit and integration testing.
Deliver to the CI using the standard.
Participate to the investigation of issues and the definition of the solution.

Qualifications MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH

Must be enrolled in a formal co-op program pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar major
Must be eligible to work full-time this fall (September-December)
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written/spoken) to interact with technical and non-technical people.
Must have a practical experience in one of the technologies stack we use:
Backend: Java 8 or above, hibernates.
Frontend: Javascript, angular, typescript Web development environments.
Familiar with version control tools (GIT, bitbucket)
Should have the ability to work and solve problems independently.
Capacity to work as part of a team.
Experience writing applications is required.
Previous internship in software development preferred.
