The successful candidate will join our Electronics/Software Development team in Saskatoon as a Software Developer Intern for either a 12 or 16 month term (beginning May 2025).As a Software Developer Intern, you will:

• Design, develop, test, debug and document C#, C/C++ and Python applications for our agriculture products (including our newly released Bourgault Intelligent Control -

for a look at our latest innovation!) * Improve the customer experience in the areas of design, performance, and usability

• Participate in requirements gathering, program design, and feature implementation
• Work closely with team members to solve software and hardware related problems
• Communicate with other teams (purchasing, vendors, manufacturing, service, etc.) for new product integration
• Occasional travel to main production facility in St. Brieux and to various test locations may be required

About YouTo qualify, you will need to be enrolled in a related engineering or computer science program and be eligible for your college's internship program.The following qualifications will be needed to successfully perform this role:

• Educational background in Software, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
• Proficient coding skills, including experience with C#, C/C++ and Python
• A willingness to learn our tech stack!
• Experience with MS Visual Studio and/or test automation would be assets
• Understanding of UI applications
• Effective communication skills, with an ability to work independently or with a team
• Familiarity with agricultural control and displays would be a strong asset
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to think critically and analytically
• Enjoy getting your hands dirty and working in a self-directed environment!
