4-Month Internship -- Conditional on External Federal Funding
Eligibility (MANDATORY):
Canadian citizen / Permanent Resident / valid Canadian work permit
Graduated within the last 2 years
Available full-time for 4 months
Proof of independent project work (solo projects, GitHub, deployed apps)
Experience with Django AND AWS (non-negotiable)
Experience managing or deploying a web app on a live server

We are a small technology company developing a cloud-based prototype. We are seeking an autonomous full-stack intern who can build features, manage cloud deployments, and assist with on-site testing when required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend features using
Django/Python
Deploy and manage live cloud infrastructure (AWS
, Digital, Ocean, Linux, Docker) Maintain stability and updates of a live web application Assist with lightweight frontend components Participate in on-site testing and provide clear documentationRequired Skills
Strong Django development experience Hands-on AWS deployment experience (EC2, Lightsail, or similar) Experience managing a web app in production or on a live server Git/GitHub proficiency Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
Assets
Docker basics Light frontend experience Comfort troubleshooting issues on physical prototypes (asset only)
