We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. This role involves working on various projects that require proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies, including MySQL, Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities

Write, modify, integrate and test software code Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications Research and evaluate a variety of software products Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and Internet-based applications Program special effects software for film and video applications Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and VBA. Experience with web development frameworks and RESTful API design. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS is a plus. Strong understanding of database management systems like MySQL. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
