The team:

Our solutions are grouped into three main categories: Security solutions (video surveillance, access control and license plate recognition), operations management, and intelligence. The Cities Application Group focuses on creating solutions for the problems faced in those categories by city agencies such as Transit, Traffic, Law Enforcement and Emergency Services.

What your day will look like:

The software developer will be responsible to develop and assist in developing applications.

• Working from Front-End to Back-End components of the product using just about every major technology in the .NET framework
• Building and maintaining fault tolerant architectures that stay responsive and scale in the face of a host of events and user interactions in a hybrid cloud context
• Participating in everything in the development lifecycle including user experience, design, development, and maintenance
• Manage time to respect delivery dates

About you:

• A bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills in English
• Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Experience in software development using C#
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with PC configuration and troubleshooting with the Windows operating system
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks

Great if you have:

• Web programming (Silverlight, ASP.NET)
• Knowledge of networking principles and the TCP/IP protocol
• Knowledge of Docker
• Knowledge of React or Angular framework
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix
• Knowledge of applications used or needed in the city space
