Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?Our Performance & Process Improvement group in St. John\'s, NL are looking to add a Software Developer to their growing team! In this role, you will be an integral contributor to our APP-Farm, actively participating in digitalization projects using Microsoft\'s platform. This role not only involves engaging with low-code development but also empowers you to write fully custom code applications within this environment. You will assist in utilizing full-stack technologies and explore coding platforms like Blazor. Your growing expertise will support the development of end-to-end solutions that necessitate collaboration with various project disciplines and functions, aiding in the delivery of versatile and high-quality software products.What will you be doing?

  • Development and maintenance of full-stack applications using Microsoft\'s low-code platform and advanced coding platforms like Blazor, contributing to the team\'s digitalization efforts.
  • Writing fully custom code applications within the low-code platform to meet specific project requirements.
  • Supporting the completion of code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
  • Contributing to the optimization of workflows and productivity through the use of productivity tools and data analytics.
  • Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development.
We think you should have:
  • University Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience in developing digital solutions/applications with a focus on functionality and user experience.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and apply data analytics in decision-making processes.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the drive to create solutions that effectively address user needs.
  • Technical skills in database modeling, APIs, HTML, CSS, SQL, C#, JavaScript, and Liquid, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Some familiarity with Low-Code/No-code platforms, showing an openness to various development environments.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn, with a creative approach and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
