Job Description

As a Software Developer at Sippy you will be a key member in the development of our core products and solutions offered. You will be a key contributor to the design of how our application operates and the architect to our product for years to come.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Adopt and Maintain mature code while working on adding new features and improvements. Collaboratively create realistic estimates for size and scope of tasks so we can accurately plan future development and deliver the requirements in a timely manner. Attend regular virtualized agile ceremonies, standups, planning, review and retrospectives. Work with a team of smart engineers - build high quality, reusable code that can be maintained for systems at scale.
Requirements

Successful Candidates will have proficient skills in C, Python and GoLang. Experience with SQL is a must. We use PostgreSQL for many of our applications. An Understanding of VoIP Protocols (SIP, RTP) and real time communication will be useful. A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience. Experience in mentoring Jr. members of our development team. Results oriented, enjoys working with people to solve technical issues.
