Position: Software Developer - Back End - Senior
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 250 Days Contract +250 Possible Extension

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Evaluation Criteria

• IBM mainframe tools 15%
• Experience with z/OS V2.2 or higher
• Expertise using file and database management tools (either File Aid V10.1 or higher, or
• Expertise using mainframe IBM Debug Tool V13.1 or higher
• IBM File Manager V13.1 or higher)
• Expertise using failure diagnostic tools (either Abend Aid V12.4 or higher, or IBM Fault
• Analyzer V13.1 or higher)
• Experience with IBM sort utility (DFSORT)
• IBM mainframe DBs, APIs, mainframe source control, mainframe batch 20%
• Experience with IMS DB V12 or higher (HALDB and DEDB) using the PLITDLI API.
• Experience with DB2 for z/OS V11 or higher
• Experience in Endevor source control tool
• Experience in writing checkpoint restart able IMS BMPs

Client/Server Architecture 10 %

• 5+ years of experience writing mainframe PL/I transactions that process XML input and produce XML output and are able to consume
• 10+ years experience in designing and developing windows client applications interacting with IMS TM applications.

Programming Languages 25%

• Recent experience in using PL/I V4.5 or higher within the last 5 years.
• Fujitsu Net COBOL V4 or higher
• 10+ years' experience in programming and analysis.

Screen Handling 10%

• Experience with mainframe Screen Handling (MFS)
• Experience with windows workstation Screen Handling Software (SCREENIO)

Windows workstation tools 10%

• Visual Studio 2008 or higher
• Visual Studio Debugger
• Harvest Source Control V12.5 or higher

Must Haves:

• Recent experience in using PL/I V4.5 or higher within the last 5 years.
