Job description:

We are seeking a Software Deployment and Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual with experience in at least one of the following systems: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or Yard Management Systems (YMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting YMS applications for new and existing customers.

Monday to Friday 12pm to 8pm

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and configure new YMS application environments for customers. Gather business and technical requirements from customers and translate them into system configurations. Deploy and manage software configuration files, ensuring proper integration. Train end users on system functionality and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to deployments. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing customers. Work closely with development, IT, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and issue resolution. Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience with at least one of the following: WMS, TMS, or YMS. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly. Familiarity with software configuration files, JSON, SQL, and Linux is a strong asset. Experience working with enterprise software solutions, SaaS platforms, or on-premises applications. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Experience with customer-facing roles such as training, implementation, or technical support is an asset. Travel is require within US and Canada

Preferred Skills:

Basic scripting or automation experience. Familiarity with API integrations. Experience with cloud environments and containerized deployments. Knowledge of networking and system administration concepts.
