We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals facing various challenges. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to advocacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in the community. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in assessing client needs, developing care plans, and facilitating access to resources.

Kildonan Common allows for their Social Workers to work from home, meetings are held in person.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans. Provide counseling and support services to the youth residing with Kildonan Common Must have a strong clinical background and be able to work from a trauma informed perspective Advocate for youths rights and access to necessary resources. Maintain accurate documentation of youths interactions and progress. Participate in case management meetings and team meetings to discuss youths progress and service delivery. Stay informed about community resources and services available to clients.

Experience

Must hold a BSW degree

, with 5 years of experience, those applicants who do not hold a BSW in Social Work will not be considered Knowledge of the Child and Family Service ACT Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence. Experience with case management and have strong organizational skills Knowledge of local resources available for youth facing various challenges.

Pay: $29.80-$42.30 per hour
