At CCFPH, our primary focus is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), a combination of Ketamine and Psychotherapy, which has shown to be 70% effective against treatment resistant forms of depression. KAP is a holistic therapy that can allow a person to open up and explore themselves in new ways. Roles and Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Social Workers is to provide Psychotherapy with the use of IM ketamine and scheduling client appointments. Psychotherapist Role \xe2\x97\x8f Provide Psychotherapy services in a psychedelic assisted environment
\xe2\x97\x8f Conducting initial assessments of clients\' situation to determine needs and goals
\xe2\x97\x8f Providing crisis intervention as needed
\xe2\x97\x8f Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional concerns
\xe2\x97\x8f Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
\xe2\x97\x8f Treat patients with respect and dignity
\xe2\x97\x8f Prepare, review and implement treatment plans
\xe2\x97\x8f Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain patient medical records (JaneApp EMR)
\xe2\x97\x8f Clinical assessments such as mental status exam and routine vitals for patients
\xe2\x97\x8f Nurse Psychotherapist to provide services to other medical facilities as required by the Canadian Centre for Psychedelic Healing
\xe2\x97\x8f Actively participating in ongoing training as needed in order to meet all certification standards and credentialing policies
\xe2\x97\x8f Local travel may be required (Employee must have access to own vehicle) Administrative Roles

\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and provide input on policies and procedures
\xe2\x97\x8f Scheduling of patients as required
\xe2\x97\x8f Weekly and monthly reporting on site metrics and needs \xe2\x97\x8f Other Duties as assigned Experience
2+ years previous experience providing counselling or therapy is a strong asset Education
A Masters in Social Work, Psychotherapy or Counselling is considered a strong asset
Registration in good standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers Remuneration
