We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention, The Social Worker will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide support through individual and group counseling sessions.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
Facilitate crisis intervention sessions for clients experiencing acute distress.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs.
Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes.
Support clients with behavioral health challenges, including PTSD care, addiction counseling, and developmental disabilities.
Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate interventions.
Provide home and community care services as needed to support client well-being.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Valid social work license in the state of practice.
Experience working with individual , children and families
Proficiency in EMR systems for managing patient records effectively.
Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding practices.
Strong skills in data collection, research methodologies, and clinical documentation.
Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and Christian counseling.
Experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining client confidentiality.
