We are a supportive, client-centered mental health practice serving

London and St. Thomas

. Our growing team provides high-quality therapeutic services to adults, and we are seeking an experienced

Sex Therapist

to join our practice. You'll play a vital role in supporting individuals and couples working through challenges related to intimacy, sexual function, relationships, and self-esteem.

What You'll Do



Provide

individual and/or couples therapy

to adults experiencing challenges related to intimacy, sexual health, desire, performance, relationships, and communication. Support clients with issues including performance anxiety, shame, trauma, low desire, identity exploration, body image, and relational dynamics. Conduct

comprehensive assessments

and develop

individualized treatment plans

tailored to each client's unique needs. Integrate evidence-based approaches and sex therapy frameworks into clinical practice. Maintain ethical standards and

accurate, confidential documentation

. Collaborate with other professionals as appropriate to ensure holistic client care.

Who You Are



Passionate about sexual health, relational wellness, and promoting positive, shame-free conversations about intimacy. Skilled in building trust and safety with clients around sensitive topics. Organized, compassionate, and committed to trauma-informed and inclusive care. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Dedicated to ongoing professional development in psychotherapy and sex therapy.

Qualifications



Master's in Social Work (MSW)

, or

equivalent psychotherapy or psychology credential

.

Registered and in good standing

with one of the following regulatory colleges:

Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO)

Minimum 2 years of psychotherapy experience

working with adults in clinical, social service, or therapeutic settings.

Formal training in sex therapy

is

required

Additional training in one or more of the following is an asset:

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EFT

(Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples)

Somatic therapies

IFS

(Internal Family Systems)

Trauma-informed approaches
