Kickstart Men's Therapy is growing, and we're looking for a thoughtful, grounded clinician to join our team. We specialize in men's mental health, fatherhood, identity, and relationship work, with a strong emphasis on relational living. Our approach blends evidence-based modalities with a down-to-earth style that helps clients move toward honesty, accountability, and meaningful change.

We're seeking a therapist who is comfortable working with individuals and couples and who values a relational, emotionally attuned, and trauma-aware lens. Our clients come in with a range of issues--anxiety, depression, identity challenges, relationship strain, fatherhood transitions, and the patterns that keep them disconnected from themselves and the people who matter most.

What You'll Do

Provide individual psychotherapy to adults Provide couples and relationship counselling (training or experience in couples work required) Deliver in-person sessions at our Guelph office (evening availability preferred) Offer a balance of relational, attachment-informed, and experiential work Maintain appropriate documentation and adhere to professional standards Participate in team culture that supports clinical growth, peer consultation, and ethical practice

What We're Looking For

Registered Social Worker (RSW)

with the OCSWSSW

or

Registered Psychotherapist (RP / Qualifying RP)

in good standing with the CRPO

Training or demonstrated experience in couples therapy (RLT, EFT, Gottman, or similar an asset) Comfort working with men, dads, and high-achieving professionals Ability to work relationally and directly while staying compassionate Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and capacity for deep work Availability for

in-person sessions in Guelph

(some hybrid possible but not fully remote) Evening or weekend availability is an asset
