Lennox and Addington County General Hospital S.E.I.U Local 1 Canada - Paramedical Social Worker
Basic Function and Scope:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker plays a key role in coordinating safe and timely discharges, admission avoidance, ED diversion and facilitating efficient patient flow across the care continuum.

$41.78-$53.22Qualifications:
Education:
Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from an accredited university by the Canadian Association of Social Work Education (CASWE);
Registration:
Current active registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Experience:
A minimum of two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated person centered approach aligned to creating a welcoming environment for all. Demonstrated assessment and therapy skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Demonstrated ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team; Must have previous proven good performance and attendance records; Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
