SchoolsPlus is a collaborative model that is comprehensive and student focused. Partners work together to educate and provide service to the child and their family, with the school as the center of the service. The Schools Plus Mental Health Clinician (SPMHC) is a member of a school-based multidisciplinary team and participates in the planning, development, provision and evaluation of mental health and addictions services for the assigned population in designated school settings. The service will focus on early identification and intervention of mental health and addictions disorders for children and adolescent within the school population.
