Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a
Social Work Manager
to join our team and provide in-person services to clients throughout the
Niagara Region
(e.g. St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Grimsby). This position involves a combination of community-based visits and remote work, with flexibility to schedule according to your availability. The rest of the work (e.g., report writing, team meetings, documentation) can be completed remotely from home.
What You'll Be Doing:
Social Work Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and counselling services to clients with complex injuries and trauma
Deliver services both in-person (Niagara Region) and virtually
Prepare detailed clinical and progress reports
Engage in team-based case consultation and support
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation and case files
Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor other social workers as part of a management role (if applicable)
Provide training and orientation when onboarding new clinicians
Assign and monitor caseloads
Conduct regular performance reviews with the guidance of our HR team
Support staff in managing emergencies or crisis situations
Attend team meetings
Hold regular meetings with clinicians to discuss issues, provide guidance, and monitor clinical operations effectively
What We're Looking For:
MSW and registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
Clinical experience in mental health, trauma, or rehabilitation settings (specifically psychotherapy skills)
Experience or interest in the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) sector is a strong asset
Strong report writing skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience with virtual care delivery and case management is preferred
Experience in a management capacity
