Your Opportunity:Description:As a Social Worker III, you will perform either advanced level assessment and treatment or act as a clinical lead. You will work with or within teams to provide health care services for patients with complex and multidimensional medical, psychosocial, environmental and instrumental needs. You will provide advanced clinical services, consultation to the interprofessional team and patients/families and supervision of students and team members as assigned. You may also act as a clinical lead providing leadership in the planning, development, and delivery of services in a specific area, as well as staff development, quality improvement and evaluation or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s).

Required Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with individual and group therapy, addictions and health psychology. Experience with assessment (cognitive, psychological). Experience with crisis intervention. Excellent communication, documentation skills and the ability to participate as an interdisciplinary team member required. Desire to work with vulnerable and marginalized populations. Will be required to participate in sensitive and challenging patient situations and expected to deal with the public in diverse situations. A medium level of physical activity is required to fulfill job requirements including but not limited to prolonged periods of sitting, computer/ keyboard and telephone work. Sufficient mobility to stand for prolonged periods is required. Frequent need to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; as well as the frequent need to concentrate on precise detailed work. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with trauma-informed therapy/ counseling.
