Your Opportunity:

Unit 35 is a unique opportunity to apply Social Work skills on a neurology/stroke and physical rehabilitation unit. Working as part of a team that includes all Allied Health disciplines and Nursing, the Social Worker on Unit 35 plays a key role in helping patients achieve their goals of regaining previous functioning and helps return patients to their homes and families. Description:

As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor\'s degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). Additional Required Qualifications:

As required. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with neurology and stroke preferred. Experience working in rehabilitation preferred.
