Your Opportunity:
As a Social Worker II, you will be responsible for a wide range of social work duties including counselling, support services, conducting assessments, identifying client issues, formulating and carrying out appropriate social work treatment plans in order to meet the needs of clients experiencing chronic mental health needs within the Recovery Alberta Mental Health & Addiction Teams. The Social Worker II works within a team and makes appropriate referrals to internal and external resources to meet clients and their families psychosocial and instrumental needs, such as housing, food, transportation, income support, and financial management and liaising with community agencies/programs. The Social Worker II will be delivering interventions both individually and within a group format. This work is performed independently and requires a high degree of clinical judgment. You will be supported by a Clinical Supervisor and report to the Adult Community Services program manager. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
