Our Drayton Valley office is seeking a:
Full Time Permanent Lead Practice Specialist
This position will oversee all programs in the Drayton Valley office including Family Development, Family Resource Network and Youth Mentorship Program.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Diploma at minimum, preferred Degree directly related to Human Services
Required 3 years of frontline human services experience, preferred 5 years of frontline human services experience as well as supervisory experience or exposure to supervisory experience
Proof of Membership in Professional Association (when applicable)* Knowledge of the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act and experience with the CFS system
Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Culture
Basic First Aid Level C with Adult, Child, and infant CPR &AED
Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training
Intervention Record Check & Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
Class 5 driver's license, clean drivers abstract, reliable personal vehicle for travel
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Has a clear understanding of the program goals, outcomes, and contractual obligations.
Develop and effectively manage program timelines to ensure the completion of program objectives.
Knowledge and adherence to quality improvement processes and Accreditation Standards (CARF)
Onboarding new employees
Critical incident management
Provide supervision, coaching and development to staff.
Knowledge and awareness of program budget and fiscal responsibilities
Complete timely reporting based on organizational and contractual requirements.
Wage Range:
$36.02 - $37.64 per hour. Wage to be negotiated based on education and directly related experience. Travel reimbursed at $0.57 per KM.

Hours of work:
40 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work select afternoons, evenings and weekends to provide programming that serves a wide range of populations.
