Position Profile For this role, you will be responsible for both the strategic planning and execution of our social media plans across all of Practice Better\'s current and future social media channels. Community is part of what makes Practice Better special, and the person in this role will enable us to reach and grow our networks of customers, fans, prospects, ambassadors, and integration partners to expand and deepen the relationship that our brand has with these audiences. What makes you a good fit The right person for this role is a collaborative quick learner who knows how to self-edit. You must be committed to experimentation and focused on delivering engaging content while perfecting your craft. You are naturally curious and highly creative, with a knack for spotting trends and moving quickly to capitalize on fast-moving social media fads. You also know your way around some analysis to take a data-driven approach to content. You\'re not afraid to get in front of a camera to film content for a channel. Lastly, you\'re naturally diplomatic and know how to tactfully respond to comments in our brand voice. If you\'ve grown a following of engaged fans for a brand, you could have a huge impact here. Accountabilities

  • Planning:
    • Ideation of a social media plan in service of the overall content and paid media strategies
    • Own and manage the social media calendar
    • Explore and plan for entry into new social channels
  • Execution:
    • Create, design, and implement social media posts, including visual design, video editing, and copywriting, in accordance with the overall social media and content strategies
    • Post and schedule blogs and promote them on social media according to distribution plans
    • Record content in front of a camera and/or with community members to produce content for Reels
    • Identifying and working with social media influencers
  • Engagement:
    • Respond to comments and direct messages in a tactful manner consistent with brand voice and guidelines
    • Reach out and engage with user and ambassador content across social channels
    • Seek, create, and leverage user-generated content to build trust and engagement
    • Moderate community posts where needed
  • Reporting:
    • Report regularly on the performance of social media initiatives and provide insights on areas for improvement and focus
    • Manage and ensure traffic from social media is properly tracked and attributed
    • Serve as the marketing department\'s subject matter expert on social media trends and tools, and suggest ideas based on your knowledge and findings
    • Research and monitor social media best practices to inform new content plans, if applicable
Requirements
  • College-level diploma or University Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience
  • Ideally, knowledge of health and wellness space, preferably a practitioner (nutritionist, dietitian, etc.)
  • Good command of all social forms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Linkedin
  • Expert-level knowledge of social publishing software, such as Hootsuite or Later, and a Linkin.Bio tool
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and/or Canva
  • Some experience with video editing software
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Extremely organized and highly collaborative
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Natural presence in front of a camera; confident and well-spoken with some interviewing skills
