We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team!
About the Role
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing social channels, and driving brand awareness across digital platforms. You will oversee trend spotting, influencer collaborations, community engagement, and content creation to strengthen Kiokii Inc's online presence and support key product launches across beauty and lifestyle categories.
Brand Awareness & Optimization
Identify and stay updated on emerging social media trends and relevant challenges/hashtags within the beauty and lifestyle field to maximize visibility.
Conduct competitive and market research across beauty and lifestyle categories.
Analyze channel and content performance using platform insights and analytics tools.
Propose innovative, data-driven content ideas to support product launches and enhance brand awareness, engagement, reach, and conversion.
Track KPIs such as follower growth, engagement rates, video views, and campaign effectiveness.
Influencer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support influencer partnerships, gifting programs, and user-generated content initiatives.
Coordinate across teams to align content with events and campaigns.
Highlight key product features, bestsellers, and seasonal trends through curated content.
Social Media Management & Content Creation
Develop, plan, and publish high-performing content including short-form videos, tutorials, product features, and trend-driven posts.
Build and manage a content calendar aligned with campaigns, promotions, and new arrivals.
Maintain consistent brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling across all platforms.
Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement to build a positive and active online community.
What You'll Need
1-3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, preferrable in retail, beauty and lifestyle categories.
Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Creativity combined with strong visual and communication skills.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Familiarity with omnichannel, retail marketing and social commerce tools.
Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
