We\'re looking for a passionate social media content creator to join Rogers Creative Group in the role of Social Video Producer. You will play a key role in developing compelling video content across Rogers\' primary and affiliated social media platforms. In this exciting and unique opportunity, you will be responsible for the production and creation of video content for various Rogers\' corporate brands, as well as internal departments and external stakeholders. Each video you produce will be to entertain, inform and engage Rogers\' customers from coast to coast to coast.

What you will do:

Create and produce social video content from end-to-end including script writing, filming, editing, motion graphics and audio mixing for distribution on Rogers owned and managed social media channels and online platforms including, but not limited to, Rogers.com, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn

Collaborate with Rogers Brand, Corporate Communications and other internal business units to align on the objectives for each project

Produce content that is fresh, innovative, on-brand and unique

Support the growth of the Rogers brand through best-in-class social video storytelling

Take existing video content and reformat & optimize multiple versions for social platforms

Design high quality assets for social media that meet brand standard while also telling the story at hand

Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, developing trends and industry/competitor activity

Maintain Rogers\' guide for social media best practices

Organize/archive all video content

What you will bring:

  • Experience producing digital video content with a focus on social media
Strong passion and knowledge of storytelling through video

You have a strong reel that accurately reflects your skills in creating video content

Strong knowledge of camera and audio equipment plus photo, audio and video editing tools, such as Premiere, Photoshop and Audition

Strong understanding of post-production workflow

Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in post-production workflow

Excellent ability to build relationships and engage with the Rogers Brand and Communications team; as well as other internal partners, Rogers employees and Rogers customers

Ability to multitask and work under stress to meet strict tight deadlines

Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights/weekends and overtime when necessary

You stay current on emerging social media trends and strategies, ensuring you maintain a progressive approach to producing video content

Ability to move forward on a task with sometimes minimal direction, but know when to stop and ask questions

Strong editorial judgement

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize effectively

Captivate our viewers by editing in a style and creativity that aligns with the Rogers brand and ensure your work has all-around consistency (style, fonts, brand and tone)
