7 Month Contract - September 2023 - March 2024

Publicis Toronto is looking for a Social Media Practitioner to support a specific client as an embedded member of their Social Team. Much of the work will include social/digital and creative.

As a member of a social media team, you will be reporting into the social & Branded Content Manager and you will be responsible for creating engaging content for digital marketing channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. This includes conceptualization, design, writing, production, and delivery of written, graphic, and video content aligned to broader marketing objectives.

  • It also includes consulting on social media and channel strategies and consulting on social elements of larger marketing campaigns. You will report on content performance based on KPIs and analytics, engage with social media users and brands, and represent our brands in a positive manner (including appearing on camera).
  • You will actively keep current and stay up-to-date on social media trends including video and incorporate changes as required. Additionally, you will attend team and project meetings to ensure coordination of efforts and contribute to the success of team goals.
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside of the social team and should be comfortable liaising independently with people from all levels of seniority.
  • You will contribute to efforts to provide thought leadership and training in social media across the organization.
Works a standard 36.25 hr. work week within an office environment but may be required to work extended hours to meet business requirements.

Qualifications

What we\'re looking for:
  • Strong conceptual and articulate presenter
  • Experience in all social platforms, Office 365, and Canva
  • A portfolio of TikTok/Reels you\'ve created for large brand(s) is a must.
  • Required travel around the GTHA (may include other office locations, stations, etc) as necessary for the creation and production of content approx. 25% of the time
