Brown Ventilation is a locally owned and fast-growing HVAC and air-quality company serving the HRM area. We specialize in duct cleaning, heat pump installs, and full ventilation services for residential and commercial properties. We're known for reliability, professionalism, and superior results.

We already have tons of photos and videos from past jobs -- we just need someone creative to turn that content into consistent, eye-catching posts and short-form videos that drive real leads and bookings.

Position Overview

We're hiring a Social Media Marketer / Content Creator to build our social media presence and generate leads through engaging content. The focus isn't just followers -- it's results. You'll turn our work, customer reviews, and service highlights into posts and reels that bring in new clients.

Responsibilities

Create and manage a posting schedule across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Use existing photo and video content to make short-form videos, reels, and stories Write captions and calls-to-action that encourage inquiries and quote requests Respond to messages and comments to capture leads quickly Track engagement, growth, and conversion metrics Plan creative campaigns and local promotions to attract new customers Collaborate directly with the owner to align posts with current jobs, seasons, and offers
Requirements

Proven experience growing social media for service-based or local businesses Strong video editing and short-form content skills (Reels, TikToks, etc.) Knowledge of local marketing and lead generation strategies Reliable, creative, and self-motivated with an eye for quality and consistency Familiar with analytics and basic ad management is an asset
Pay

Pay varies depending on experience, results, and deal structure. Open to hourly, flat-rate, or performance-based arrangements for the right person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
