About the position:
As a Social Media Manager for Snakes & Lattes Canada, you will be part of the Marketing Team and report to the Director of Marketing. You will work in a fun, exciting and dynamic environment, and you will be challenged to elevate Snakes & Lattes' brand awareness on all social media platforms for both of our locations in Toronto.
The position requires fluency in English (spoken and written), strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and relevant experience in Social Media Management.
Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset. Knowledge of board games is not necessary, as you will learn as you create content and work with our Game Experts.
What you'll be doing:
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with Snakes & Lattes' overall marketing objectives.
Build and manage content calendars to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Content Creation & Photography
Produce photo and video content that reflects the Snakes & Lattes aesthetic and connects with our audience.
Create engaging, fun, and authentic TikTok videos.
You'll often be the on-camera personality
showcasing our games, atmosphere, and events.
Collaborate with our Game Experts to create board games-related content that educates and entertains.
Community & Influencer Engagement
Actively manage online communities by responding to comments and messages.
Build relationships with local influencers and coordinate partnerships to expand brand reach.
Launch and manage contests, giveaways, and campaigns to drive engagement.
Performance & Reporting
Track KPIs and analyze data to optimize content and campaigns.
Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration & Oversight
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
Manage U.S. agency partnerships for outsourced social media -- including briefing, content approvals, and performance reviews.
About You
You're creative, self-motivated, and reliable.
You've managed brand social media accounts before.
You have a track record of working with influencers.
You know how to create stories, Reels and TikTok videos that stand out.
You're comfortable being on camera.
You have an eye for aesthetic content and enjoy the video editing process, crafting visually appealing videos that resonate with our audience.
You're quick with Canva and basic editing tools.
You like testing new ideas and tracking what works.
You work well with others and take feedback easily.
You're into board games, events, and fun community spaces.
Qualifications
You have worked 3-5 years in the marketing and social media space with excellent knowledge in: Blogger / Influencer outreach, social media strategy, social community content, social community management, and content creation.
You have strong writing, photography and digital design skills.
You have experience with softwares such as Canva, Photoshop, Capcut, Premiere Pro, Hootsuite.
You have a proven record of social media management and content creation.
You have an Undergraduate or Graduate-level university degree in Communications, Business/Marketing or Journalism.
