Position Overview
We are seeking a
Social Media Manager
to oversee and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, mental health advocacy, and storytelling. This person will work closely with our clinical team to create meaningful, educational, and engaging content that reflects our values and connects with our community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Serene Heart's brand and mission.
Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, blogs) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Collaborate with therapists and clinic staff to highlight services, promote workshops, and share mental health resources.
Monitor engagement metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Stay informed on current trends in mental health, digital marketing, and social media best practices.
Manage online community engagement, including responding to comments and messages in a compassionate and professional manner.
Assist with occasional website updates, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, or organization.
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.
Understanding of mental health topics and sensitivity when communicating about them.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, values-driven team.
Preferred Skills (Assets)
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, or paid advertising campaigns.
Experience in the healthcare, wellness, or mental health industry.
Photography or video editing skills.
