We are seeking an experienced and client-focused
Social Media Manager
to own the strategy, execution, and reporting for a portfolio of client accounts. This role is ideal for an agile strategist who thrives on staying ahead of platform changes, possesses a deep curiosity for emerging trends, and is keen to integrate AI tools to maximize efficiency and client results.
Responsibilities:
The Social Media Manager will manage the entire social presence for a portfolio of agency clients. Key responsibilities include:
Creative Leadership & Direction:
Lead, brief, and collaborate directly with our internal Graphic Designer and Videographer to ensure all necessary visual assets and video content are created to spec, on time, and aligned with client strategies and brand guidelines.
Client Strategy & Consultation:
Serve as a primary client contact, translating their specific business objectives into comprehensive, platform-specific social media strategies.
Content Oversight:
Plan, create, edit, and publish engaging content (visuals, copy, and video) that aligns with each client's unique brand voice and content calendar.
Trend & Platform Expertise:
Proactively monitor and implement emerging social media features and trends (e.g., new video formats, algorithm shifts) to ensure client strategies remain cutting-edge.
Efficiency & AI Integration:
Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools (e.g., for content ideation, copywriting, basic reporting) to streamline internal processes and enhance client deliverables.
Performance Reporting:
Track, measure, and analyze performance using platform analytics, and present detailed monthly performance reports.
Campaign Management:
Manage and optimize content calendars and paid social media boosting campaigns.
Community Management:
Proactively monitor and manage client community engagement.
Requirements:
Candidates should
ideally
meet the following qualifications to be considered:
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of professional social media management experience, or managing multiple brands concurrently.
Strategy & Principles:
Strong knowledge of overarching digital marketing principles and practices beyond social media posting, including an understanding of social media SEO techniques.
Paid Media Expertise:
Experience with Meta Advertising and the creation and management of other paid social media campaigns.
Technical Proficiency - Creative:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other tools for graphic design and video production and content refinement.
Technical Proficiency - Tools:
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Metricool, Dashthis, etc.
Data & Analytics:
Ability to analyze social media performance alongside data from Google Analytics to inform strategy decisions and demonstrate ROI to clients.
Communication & Content:
Excellent written communication skills with strong proofreading abilities and a sharp eye for brand voice.
Mindset:
A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through visual content, coupled with a deep curiosity for emerging social media trends and platform shifts.
Future Focus:
Familiarity with a deep curiosity in leveraging AI tools (e.g., for content ideation, copywriting, automation) to streamline workflow and enhance client deliverables.
Must have

for travel to client sites or content creation locations (if/when applicable).
Bonus Qualifications:
Photography/Videography Skills:
Hands-on experience with professional
