We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized
Social Media Manager
to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies, creating engaging content, and managing multiple client accounts across various platforms. This role requires strong content creation skills, an understanding of digital trends, and the ability to capture and produce on-site social content in a fast-paced agency environment.
Duties
Plan, create, and publish engaging social media content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
Visit client locations to
capture short-form content
such as reels, TikToks, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and lifestyle visuals.
Shoot and edit vertical video content tailored for social platforms.
Develop content calendars, social strategies, and creative concepts that support client goals and brand identity.
Write compelling captions and social copy that align with each client's brand voice.
Collaborate with the creative, design, and marketing teams to produce cohesive campaigns and content assets.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with online communities.
Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to optimize ongoing strategy.
Research and identify social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content styles to enhance creative output.
Conduct competitor research and industry analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Assist with creative brainstorming and development of social-first campaign ideas.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Content Creator, preferably within a marketing or creative agency.
Strong portfolio demonstrating
short-form video creation, on-site content capture, and social media storytelling.
Hands-on experience filming and editing content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different brands.
Deep understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and current social media trends.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable directing clients or talent during content shoots to achieve the desired outcome.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
